Four Legs Are Faster Than Two - 5 miles

Welcome to our second virtual race, Four Legs Are Faster Than Two, which we have put together to celebrate our furry, four legged best friends. Our selection of non-standard distances from our Bridge the Gap event received a lot of positive feedback, so we have kept an element of this with our second race by offering 5 and 10 mile options. If you are working towards a 10k goal, this 5 mile distance, or 8km, is ideal!

We will be sending all our entrants a sustainable wooden medal, personalised race number, and a goody bag full of treats. You can choose for these treats to be just for you, or both you and dog! These will be sourced entirely from small UK family businesses, and we will donate 10% of each entry to Paws Up - the retired police dog benevolent fund for Durham Police Constabulary. This benevolent fund helps families who adopt a retiring police dog to fund food, vet bills, toys and other items to give police dogs a safe, happy retirement.

If you would like treats for your dog as well as yourself, please select the 'me and my dog' option. Your dog doesn't have to do the distance with you, this option just means you get additional treat for your dog in your goody bag! If it's just you, please select the 'just me' option! Child entries will receive a child friendly goody bag too. Good luck!
