Four Legs Are Faster Than Two - 10 miles

Welcome to our second virtual race, Four Legs Are Faster Than Two, which we have put together to celebrate our furry, four legged best friends. Our selection of non-standard distances from our Bridge the Gap event received a lot of positive feedback, so we have kept an element of this with our second race by offering 5 and 10 mile options. This is the distance category for you if you really want to go for a major distance that is also very achievable! This is also a fantastic gap-bridging distance if you are working towards a half marathon.

We will be sending all our entrants a sustainable wooden medal, personalised race number, and a goody bag full of treats for you and your dog, if you're lucky enough to have a furry friend at home. These will be sourced entirely from small UK family businesses, and we will donate 10% of each entry to Paws Up - the retired police dog benevolent fund for Durham Police Constabulary. This benevolent fund helps families who adopt a retiring police dog to fund food, vet bills, toys and other items to give police dogs a safe, happy retirement.

If you would like treats for your dog as well as yourself, please select the 'me and my dog' option. Your dog doesn't have to do the distance with you, this option just means you get additional treat for your dog in your goody bag! If it's just you, please select the 'just me' option!
